Philippine Rosekie Cristobal in hopes of continuing his winning ways in the United States

Super lightweight contender Rosekie Cristobal is making the trek across the North Pacific Ocean to Indio, California in hopes of continuing his winning ways by now honing his craft in the United States.

The Philippine native began his career in 2012 and twice won two versions of the PBF (Philippine Boxing Federation) title.

The first a TKO win for the lightweight title in May 2017 against Alvin Makiling, and then later last year, a TKO win over Romero Jakosalem in November 2017 for the super lightweight title.

Cristobal, (15-2, 11KO) is on a three fight winning streak, goes by the nickname of ‘The Gentle Giant’ and will train in Coachella, California with Marcos Caballero at the Coachella Boxing Club owned by Lee Espinoza.

Cristobal is managed by Francisco Calderon and is promoted by New Champ Promotions.
