cameron-dunkinNORFOLK, VIRGINIA – September 24, 2015 – In the summer of 2014, Dodie Boy Penalosa, Jr. (13-0, 12KO) secured his 13th win, and his 12th by knockout, positioning him perfectly for what his newly inked manager, Cameron Dunkin, hopes will be a successful run for a World Title.

In his first fight this year, he steps into the ring in Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday in a four round featherweight bout. It is the first of several already-scheduled fights for the Filipino fighter, who, along with his brother Dave, signed a managerial contract with Cameron Dunkin Management earlier this month.

“Dodie Boy is on the fast track. We are going to finish what we started with him in the TKO days,” said Dunkin of the young fighter’s career trajectory. “He’s going to fight as often as possible. This is how a guy turns into a fighter. He gets in the ring and fights. This is how I want to be moving my fighters. Dodie Boy, Dave Penalosa, John Joe Nevin – they will be on the same track.” said Dunkin. “We want to sign fighters we can move and get into a position to win a title.”

Penalosa steps into the ring this Saturday at the Norfolk Masonic Temple. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased by calling (410) 499-5361.
