Zak Collins out to make it five wins out of five

London (3 Dec) Kid Galahad is looking to take his perfect record to 13 straight wins when he meets Ivan Ruiz Morote in an eight round contest this Saturday (8th Dec) at the Sports Arena, Hull.

The international contest will be shown on Channel 5 from 10pm.

 

Since his professional debut in 2009 Galahad, 22, has taken his record to 12 wins with five knockouts, no losses and no defeats.

 

Galahad, is currently in training camp in Fuerteventura said “Can’t wait until Saturday night, he is a seasoned pro, so this is a great test for me.”

 

“The fight fans will see that I’m the best super bantamweight in Britain and Europe.”

 

“I’m really looking forward to putting on an impressive performance against Morote live on Channel 5.” Added Kid.

Morote, the WBC Latino featherweight champion fought for the vacant EBU-EU super bantamweight title in 2011 and represents another step up for Galahad.

 

His record stands at 15 wins from 17 contests with only two defeats and he boasts seven knockout victories to his name and has also won the Spanish featherweight title.

 

Headlining at the Sports Arena will be the WBC Silver title contest between European champion James DeGale MBE and former world champion Fulgencio Zuniga. Supporting will be middleweight sensation Chris Eubank Jr.

 

The action packed undercard will feature Hull’s Samir Mouneimne Jr who will be challenging the Scottish Area super featherweight champion David Savage over 10 rounds in a British Featherweight Title Eliminator and Hull based fighters, Ricky Dudding, Nathon Smith, Joel Haigh, Goole’s Zac Collins and Jordon Gill from Chatteris.
