Weights Are In for Next Installment “San Diego Fights” Friday, August 30th

Robles-300x200(San Diego, CA) – The first challenge was metThursday evening when all ten fighters tipped the scales for their respective fights.  In the main event, San Diego’s own Emmanuel “Renegade” Robles (8-0-1, 3KOs) weighted in at the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds while his opponent, the experienced Adolfo “Terror” Landeros (22-32-2, 10KOs) was just one pound under at 139.

 

In the semi-main event, Lakeside, CA’s Pablo Cupul (8-12, 5KOs) stopped the scale at 122 lbs. for his fight against undefeated Tijuana prospect Carlos “Memin” Carlson (10-0, 7KOs) who weighed in at 121 lbs.

 

Local favorite Prince “Tiger” Smalls (1-0-1) looked fit at 129 lbs while his opponent Luis Ventura (0-1) of  Tijuana weighed in the same.

 

Fresno, CA’s Luis Ambrosio (1-0, 1KO) is back in southern California to take on LA’s Akeenz Zamani who will be making his pro debut.  Ambrosio weighed in at 123 lbs while Zamani came in at 124 lbs.

 

In a special heavyweight attraction, 2012 Olympian Michael Hunter (1-0, 1KO) stopped the scale at 210.5 lbs.  Hunter will be  taking on the 15-7, 4KOs Francisco Mireles whose official weight was 2854 pounds.
