WBC Welterweight World Champion and No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter Floyd “Money” Mayweather hosted a press conference to formally announce his upcoming SHOWTIME PPV® matchup against arcos “El Chino” Maidana taking place on Saturday, May 3, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The press event took place prior to the start of the “TOE TO TOE: Canelo vs. Angulo” fight card.

Mayweather vs. Maidana, a WBC & WBA Welterweight World Championship unification for Mayweather and Maidana’s respective 147-pound titles, is promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions taking place Saturday, May 3 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The event will be produced and distributed live by SHOWTIME PPV.
