We caught up with Puerto Rican jr. lightweight Felix “El Diamante” Verdejo at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, during the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight week activities. Just this past Saturday, Verdejo captured his first title, the WBO Latino jr. lightweight crown, by beating Marco Antonio “El Kua Kua” López by TKO in the fifth round. Verdejo spoke to us about his win over Lopez, his upcoming fight against Iván “Bam Bam” Najera, the 13th of June from the Madison Square Garden in New York and gave us his thoughts on Mayweather-Pacquiao.
