KYLE BOCHNIAK

ON FIGHTING IN BOSTON

I️ feel extremely proud to represent my city at the highest level. I will be laying everything on the line and throwing it all out there in hopes of another UFC contract in front of my home crowd.

STIPE MIOCIC

ON MOTIVATION

What motivates me? I think just people doubting; the doubters. I love it. Proving people wrong. I’m out here making my mom proud, you know? My mom’s a great woman; she’s worked hard her whole life. I just want to show her that it rubbed off on me. So is my father, but I lived with my mother my whole life; my mom raised me. I just want to show her that, “Listen, what you put into me is still there and nothing’s going to change.

CALVIN KATTAR

ON FIGHTING IN BOSTON

It’s a dream come true to be competing here. First of all, it’s a dream come true to be doing Media Day at Fenway Park leading into a TD Garden bout in Boston – UFC 220 – what a special, special moment. I’m excited to be a part of it. My teammates Rob Font and Kyle Bochniak are on the card… to have that many of your teammates on the card leading into the biggest fight of your career – there’s a lot of comfort in that. Being from Boston, I’m just excited to go put on a show in front of my hometown.

DANIEL CORMIER

ON FATHERHOOD

It means everything. It overtakes everything. Whenever you become a father, you understand what true love means. You always think that you love this and you love that. I love the UFC, I love basketball, I love shoes… You don’t love anything until you have kids. It’s the most special, important thing ever.

ON WRESTLING

It’s everything. It teaches you hard work, discipline, commitment, goal-setting. Wrestling is the world’s oldest sport and it prepares you for just life in general. I think it’s the best sport in the world and I love it. Young wrestlers are on the right path, they’re in the right sport, because they can take those lessons that they’ve learned in the wrestling room and they can apply them to their life going forward and also help people that they come in contact with.

UFC 220: Miocic vs. Ngannou begins at 7:00PM on UFC Fight Pass, followed by the FS1 prelims at 8:00PM and the Main Card on Pay Per View beginning at 10:00PM, all EST and all taking place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
