If looks could kill could have been the theme to this fight based on the facial expressions of both fighters as they walked out to the octagon. For Cat Zingano this was her long awaited title fight which she had earned. Her cool and collected focus was visible as she prepared for the most important moment in her career.

The champion was not to be denied. Ronda Rousey told the world she was the greatest fighter to ever live and tonight she scored another armbar submission just 14 seconds into the first round.

After the fight Rousey reflected on who could be next to challenge her in the division.

“It’s sort of like a judo tournament where you scramble as soon as you hit the ground. Holly Holm is undefeated and former boxing champion and I always like challenging myself. Bethe Correia is undefeated and I want to take her zero,” said Rousey.
