Junior “Cigano” Dos Santos (15-1) vs. Cain Velasquez (10-1)
On the night of November 12th 2011 ended the reign of the undefeated Cain Valasquez very quick in the first round via KO (ref stoppage). I see a very different outcome in the rematch, I feel Cain made a very big mistake by not doing what made him who he was leading up to the fight with Dos Santos, which was using his wrestling. I see Velasquez going back to the drawing, look for Cain to take the champion to the ground quickly and use his relentless ground game. Both men will get cought in this fight, but I see this going all 5 roiunds.
JRAM Prediction: Cain Valequez, new UFC heavyweight champion of the world via split decision.
Joe Lauzon (22-7) vs. Jim Miller (21-4)
This fight pits two guys who seem to get things done inside the distance. Lauzon has finished all his opponents via submission, Miller’s resume is so close it is earie. Great match up with two of the best lightweights in the division with title implications written all over this fight. This one is very hard to predict, the fight can and will end with whomever makes the first mistake.
JRAM Prediction: In fast and hard fought match-up, I see Joe Lauzon submitting Jim Miller inside the distance.
