THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER Sunday Special Tops Two-Million Viewers on FOX

The_Ultimate_Fighter_Faber_Mcgregor_TufA Sunday, Sept. 27 special episode of THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER: TEAM MCGREGOR VS. TEAM FABER that aired on FOX broadcast network adjacent to local FOX NFL games, was viewed by 2.016 million viewers, up +15% over last year’s THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER episode that similarly aired on an NFL Sunday, according to Nielsen.

 

In addition to posting gains on FOX, the new season is posting solid gains on FS1 as well. Through the first four episodes, THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER is delivering its largest audiences since its first season on the network when the coaches were Ronda Rousey and her arch-rival Miesha Tate. The fourth episode on Wednesday, Sept. 30 scored 538,000 viewers, +88% from the fourth episode of the spring season (286,000), and +4% compared to last fall’s season average (515,000).

 

This season is also experiencing hefty gains when looking at time-shifted viewership. Episode 3 of THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER posted 769,000 viewers on Live+3, +44% more than its Live+SD viewership (533,000). Episode 3’s Live+3 viewership is up +47% over the same episode of the spring season (769,000 vs. 534,000). Through the first three episodes, Live+3 is adding +50% viewership over the Live+SD numbers.
