Glory-30New York, NY – GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, today announced the headline bout for its return to Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA, the site of GLORY 30 Los Angeles and GLORY 30 SuperFight Series on Friday, May 13.

After capturing gold at GLORY 27 Chicago last month, GLORY Middleweight World Champion Simon “Bad Bwoy” Marcus (43-2-2, 24 KO) makes his first title defense at GLORY 30 Los Angeles against No. 3 ranked Dustin “The Hanyak” Jacoby (9-6, 7 KO), who enters the bout riding a five-fight winning streak, all five coming by way of knockout.

Marcus defeated heated rival and long-time champion Artem Levin in his last fight, while Jacoby earned the title opportunity by knocking out Karl Roberson and Wayne Barrett as part of GLORY’s one-night, four-man Middleweight Contender Tournament at GLORY 27 Chicago.

“Simon is one of the top strikers on the planet, bar none, and has proven himself every step of the way since joining GLORY,” said GLORY CEO Jon J Franklin. “The same goes for Dustin, who has been with us for his entire kickboxing career. He just won back-to-back tournaments and is knocking out everyone we put in front of him.

“The middleweight division is loaded right now and this is one of the many exciting match-ups in store at that weight.”

Additional bouts for GLORY 30 Los Angeles and GLORY 30 SuperFight Series, including the participants in a one-night, four-man Light Heavyweight Contender Tournament, will be announced soon.

Tickets for GLORY 30 Los Angeles and GLORY 30 SuperFight Series go on sale Monday, March 28 at 10 a.m. PT and are priced at $152, $97, $77, $62 and $37. Tickets will be available for purchase via AXS.com and at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office.
