HUGHIE FURY VS MOSES MATOVU HIGHLIGHTS AND POST FIGHT REACTION FROM WONDERWORLD, MILTON KEYNES

LONDON – Peter Fury believes young heavyweight star Hughie Fury will improve “ten-fold” by helping his cousin prepare for his blockbuster showdown with David Haye at Manchester Arena on September 28th, live on Sky Sports HD Box Office.

The 6’7” 18-year-old is in Belgium as part of Tyson Fury’s eight week training camp, helping him prepare for the biggest fight of his career and his father and trainer, Peter, believes the level of sparring and fitness work will be “invaluable” for Hughie.

“This is an invaluable experience for such a young kid in a training camp like this and it will speak volumes,” Peter said.

“He’s developing really well, but still has a lot to work on, but in such an environment you can expect Hughie to improve ten-fold”.

Making his professional debut in just March of this year, Hughie has wasted no time in building his experience and already boasts a record of eight wins with five knockouts, no defeats and no draws.

The first ever Irish/British fighter to win a gold medal at the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships at super heavyweight, Hughie has fought in Canada, the US at Madison Square Garden, New York, Romania, Northern Ireland, England and Ireland.

Focussed on one day beating Mike Tyson’s infamous record of becoming the youngest world heavyweight champion, Hughie’s attention is now on training in Belgium, where the team are on a strict regime.

Hughie is scheduled to fight again in September.
