Mom talks Lucas Matthysse out of retirement!

Mama mia! Following his defeat by Danny García and other personal problems Lucas Matthysse was pondering retirement
But he’s already snapped out of it!

Alarm bells blasted when he wrote on his official Facebook page:
“If I can’t find a way to go on, I’ll retire today. I cannot go on.”

Since than Matthysse has spoken with his team and family, and has had a change of heart.

His mother, Dorys confided:

“Lucas is going through hard times. He has personal problems. I also got scared when I read that on his Facebook page, but you all can be calm. I’ve already spoken with him and he won’t retire.

Matthysse will travel to US on November 24th along with his manager Mario Arano to meet with Golden Boy Promotions.
