If Mikey Garcia beats Adrien “The Problem” Broner, the sky will be the limit.

That is the main theme of this Saturday night’s main event between between the three-division world champion Garcia and the former four-divison titlist Broner. The bout will headline a Showtime Championship Boxing card live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

After a two and half year layoff because of a promotional dispute, Garcia picked up his third world title with a third round brutal knockout of the previously unbeaten Dejan Zlaticacin in January.

In the other corner you have Broner – who has brushed off several incidents with the law – and has reeled off three consecutive wins since losing a decision to Shawn Porter.  The still only 27-year-old who has cut corners in the past, swears that he took this camp seriously and will prove that Garcia made a mistake in moving up in weight to face him.

Should Garcia come out of the fight victorious, his options will be almost limitless.  He hasn’t signed with a promoter and has mentioned the names of eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, two-division unbeaten champion Terence Crawford and two time Olympic gold medalist and super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko as his next targets.

Any of the three fights would be intriguing and are the types of names he needs to beat to become the pay-per-view star that he craves.
