Magomed Abdusalamov, taken out of a medically induced coma

MagomedAbdusalamov-PesajeV__ctorBisbalBS2New York. – Russian boxer, Magomed Abdusalamov, was taken out of a medically induced coma and his health has improved, his representative Nathan Lewkowicz informed.

Lewkowicz said the European boxer is breathing by himself, in addition to the fact that he opened his right eye and can move his right leg.

The physicians see all this progress as something positive and great advancement for Abdusalamov who is expected to wake up totally very soon so that an exact diagnosis is issued and it can be said what the consequences will be.

“He has been taken out of the coma and will be moved to a regular room”, stated Nathan Lewkowicz, representative to the boxer. Lewkowicz has remained at Magomed´s side since the regrettable accident took place. “I spoke to the neurosurgeon and Magomed is awake, however not fully conscious yet”.

Lewkowicz added that they will not know how Magomed´s brain is until 18 months after the surgery.
