JULIAN “EL CAMARON” RAMIREZ, Featherweight Prospect:

“On April 2 I will give fans a good fight. I will go out there and try to perform. I have trained hard, and I will be ready for Hidalgo. This will be an aggressive fight; fans want an aggressive style, and I will give them that.

“I want to fight the best, and when I am ready for a title fight I will take on any champion. I am ready for the challenge.”

EVERTON LOPES. Lightweight Prospect:

“We are training very hard. I am sparring and trying to improve everything. We have focused on fighting on the inside so I can be a strong fighter on April 2.

“Boxing was not popular in Brazil but now boxing is coming back. We are bringing back boxing to Brazil because they have world champions and Olympians to watch out for in professional boxing.”

NICK ARCE, Featherweight Prospect:

“My training camp has included a lot of running and a lot of speed drills.  I want to be 100 percent at everything and make sure my defense and my speed will be in top form on fight night.

“I am excited because we are 10 minutes away from the Belasco Theater; it’s here in Los Angeles, right at home.  I feel like I have the support of all my fans here. Without them this wouldn’t be possible.”

The LA FIGHT CLUB is a monthly boxingseries that takes place on the first Thursday of each month on May 7 and June 4. It showcases the brightest stars in the sport and presents these exciting matchups in a nightclub atmosphere with an original setup. The boxing ring is set on the main floor of the Belasco Theater with on-camera standing room for fans in front of the ring similar to a concert pit, as well as reserved balcony and floor seats. Los Angeles’ own DJ Ray of Big Boy’s Neighborhood spins music during the fights, and fans are able to dance and mingle with the fighters when the venue converts into a night club, in a VIP experience not matched by any promoter in the industry.
