jessie vargas1-top rankJessie Vargas is ready to defend his WBA Jr welter weight title in Macau China this upcoming November 22, 2014 when he faces tough Mexican contender Antonio Demarco.

The fight will be the Co-Main event of the Pay per view matchup between Manny Paquiao vs Chris Algieri. This is a great opportunity for Vargas to put the icing on the cake for what has been a great year for him.

Just days before Thanksgiving Day Jessie will defend his title and according to the hungry champion nothing will taste sweeter on Thanksgiving dinner than a victory in China.

Vargas started the year with a great victory in April when he won his first world championship, then in August he successfully defended his title for the first time and now in November he gets to close out the year with a bang.

The undefeated champion feels that this will be his breakthrough fight where the whole world will get to know him more. For that he has hired one of boxing finest technicians, Roy Jones Jr as his trainer.

Jessie stated that he has always admired Roy Jones Jr, growing up he would watch his fights on HBO and tried to learn his moves as a boxer puncher with quick combinations and slick defensive movements. Team Vargas believes Roy Jones Jr will compliment Vargas style because he likes to use his boxing skills as well as mix it up.

One thing’s for sure, you don’t want to miss this Pay per view fight card brought to you by Top Rank and HBO.
