Kansas City, Mo. – Invicta Fighting Championships returns to the historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City with a flyweight title, streaming live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 8.

Flyweight champion Jennifer Maia (14-4-1) will defend her belt against undefeated challenger Agnieszka “Kuma” Niedźwiedź (10-0) in the Invicta FC 26 main event.

Brazil’s Maia captured the title last year in a ‘Fight of the Night’ performance opposite perennial contender Vanessa Porto, following that effort up with a back-and-forth battle against one of the sport’s longtime veterans, Roxanne Modafferi. Niedźwiedź, fighting out of Poland, has impressed in her first two fights for the promotion, defeating both Christine Stanley and the aforementioned Porto by unanimous decision.

After being sidelined due to injury, Japanese prodigy MIZUKI (12-4) makes her return to the Invicta cage, taking on 22-year-old Janaisa “Evil Princess” Morandin (9-1) in a match-up of strawweight contenders.

MIZUKI, who began fighting professionally at 16 years old, most recently submitted Lynn Alvarez in the second round at Invicta FC 18, pushing her winning streak to four in a row. The Brazilian Morandin looks to get back to her winning ways after suffering defeat – while earning ‘Fight of the Night’ honors – against Livia Renata Souza in August.

Plus, top-ranked Vanessa Porto (18-8) locks horns with Jessica-Rose “Jessy Jess” Clark (7-4, 1 NC) at flyweight.
