Below are what the fighters had to say about their upcoming fights.

CARLOS “THE SOLUTION” MORALES, Super Featherweight Contender:

“I’m going to give fans a great fight. If the knockout comes, it comes, and if it doesn’t, we’ll go to decision, but the main thing is to come out victorious that night.

“I’m ready. It’s just a matter of waiting for the fight date, but I’m ready. I’ve been in training camp for four months, so we’re definitely ready for this fight.”

JOET GONZALEZ, Super Bantamweight Prospect:

“My sparring’s great, my conditioning’s great, I’ve been running good, I’ve been training hard and I’m ready for my fight.

“I’m one hundred percent mentally and physically ready. If the fight was tomorrow, I could fight tomorrow.

“I’m going to throw punches. I’m not here to run, I’m just here to throw punches and give a great fight.”

CHRISTIAN “CHIMPA” GONZALEZ, Super Featherweight Prospect:

“We’re fighting a veteran, a guy with a lot of experience, so we’re expecting the guy to bring the best out of me.

“It’s going to be my second time fighting eight rounds, we’re doing really well in the gym, and everything is going as planned.”

OSCAR “EL JAGUAR” NEGRETE, Super Bantamweight Prospect:

“I am very excited to fight on the one-year anniversary of LA FIGHT CLUB on March 4. I will be ready to put on a great fight for all the fans who come out and support us every fight.

“I have started my training; I feel strong and will be ready for any opponent in the ring. I plan to keep my undefeated record and will not let anyone stand in my way.”

IVAN “STRIKER” DELGADO, Super Featherweight Prospect:

“I’m excited. It’s my first fight of 2016. I want to start off the year good. Last year I fought five times and I’m looking forward to the same this year.

“No fight is easy. I don’t know who I’m fighting yet, but whoever it is, I’m ready for them. As long as I feel well prepared and I feel that I did my training, my part, then I’ll go in the ring confident and perform well.”

ALEXIS ROCHA, Super Welterweight Prospect:

“You can expect a lot of action. I’ve been training very hard for this fight. It’s my pro debut. I plan to bring a lot of excitement, and I won’t let the fans down.
“My sparring session now is about being steadier, calmer. As a professional I have to be more relaxed, more patient. The amateurs has got me great experience but it’s more about pit or pats and everything like that and the pros is more about three or four hard shots.
“I train very hard and I don’t want to let you guys down so that’s why I put in the extra work for you guys, and I won’t let you guys down”.
