“Brutal” Jake Bostwick Eyes BKFC Middleweight Title
Brutal” Jake Bostwick believes the best is yet to come.
The rising Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship contender has seen his stock rise tremendously over the last six months in this rapidly growing sport.
“I am unbeaten in my last three fights, evolving and learning in this brutal sport of bare knuckle boxing. I’m excited to see what’s next. My eyes are on the middleweight strap,” said Bostwick.
The BKFC Middleweight ‘strap’ belongs to champion Dave “Redneck” Mundell at 175 pounds. Mundell faces BKFC top contender Mike “The Marine” Richman for the world title on July 14th in Lakeland, Florida.
Mundell is coming off four consecutive wins and looks to be a serious force in the middleweight division. Bostwick will sit ringside with advisor, BJ Flores, with his sights firmly set on the winner.
Flores knows a thing or two about combat sports. As a former amateur and professional boxer at the highest levels, Flores comes in with a tremendous boxing pedigree. The former world title challenger and professional boxing analyst believes Bostwick has a very bright future in the BKFC.
“Jake Bostwick is a charismatic, entertaining young fighter who wants a chance to test himself against the very best. I’ve known Jake for over three years and I believe he has what it takes to make it to the very highest level of the BKFC,” said Flores. “We will be watching the Mundell fight very closely.”
“Fighting is in my blood,” said Bostwick. “I’ve worked too hard to get to where I am and I plan on becoming the BKFC Middleweight Champion within the next twelve months.”
