Video: Conor McGregor: I might go out there and rip it down [Mayweather’s poster from the MGM]
“I might go out there and rip it [Poster of Floyd Mayweather on the MGM Grand] down myself and what’s he [Floyd Mayweather] going to do it about it. He’s not going to do nothing. So I’ll rip that down after this press conference.”
UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor responding to a question about Mayweather’s poster on the MGM Grand building. Conor was at the final press conference of UFC 196 where he will face late replacement Nate Diaz at a weight limit of 170.
McGregor was originally scheduled to face UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos until the Brazilian had to pull out of the event with a foot injury.
Also on the card is Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm who will be putting her world title on the line for the first time against second-ranked Miesha Tate in the co-main event of UFC196. The undefeated Holm became a household name at UFC® 193 when she knocked out previously unbeaten Ronda Rousey. The former boxing champion looks to keep her perfect record intact when she meets Tate, who is riding a dominant four-fight win streak.
