Thurman vs Porter Undercard Fight Results

In a battle of undefeated super welterweights Oscar Molina and Jarrett “Swift” Hurd went to war. Molina gets dropped with a hard right uppercut from Hurd late in round one. Molina continued battle forward but the bigger Jarrett seemed to outland and out muscle him down the stretch. Hurd’s pressure and combinations slowly broke Molina down the stretch. With a close eye on Molina who was taking too much punishment from Hurd referee Ricky Gonzalez stops the bout with 2:02 in round 10.

Brooklyn’s own featherweight Heather Hardy  (17-0,4 KO’s) defeated Kirstie Simmons (8-2, 2 KO’s) with a unanimous decision with scores of  79-73, 78-74 twice in a hard fought 8 rounds.

In a battle of attrition light heavyweights David Benavidez (15-0,14 KO’s) and Francy Ntetu (16-1,4 KO’s) went to war for 7 rounds before referee step in to stop the bout controversially. Benavidez was getting the better of the exchanges but Ntetu was in tough and was fighting back before the stoppage.

Junior welterweight Jonathan Alonso (10-0,4 KO’s) from Madrid Spain won a clear shutout over Brian Jones (13-6,7 KO’s) outworking him in all of the six rounds.

In a NABF junior welterweight title scheduled for 10 ended  when Regis Prograis (18-0, 15 KO’s) dropped Luis Florez (21-3,17 KO’s) in the second and with a flurry in the 4th caused the referee to stop the bout at 1:47.

Junior welterweight from the Bronx, Joshue Vargas (5-0-3 Ko’s) dominated Ryan Picou (2-10-1) for all 4 rounds winning by unanimous decision with scores of 40-36.

In the opener junior middleweight Nicklaus Flaz (3-0,3 KO’s) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico knocked out Mack Babb (1-7) in a 1:13 of the first round of a scheduled four rounder.
