Óscar Valdez wants to do the rounds
Brilliant Mexican featherweight prospect Oscar Valdez who’s undefeated with six KO’s in six fights, wants to accumulate some experience rounds.
Although Olympian Oscar who defeated Carlos Cuadras as an amateur, has adapted with ease to the professional side of the sport, he’s certainly not so naive as to let all of this go to his head. He well knows, and readily concedes a great deal remains to be learned before he’s properly qualified to fight for a world title.
“I must keep gaining experience, to fight in bouts with more rounds, and… I want to have bigger challenges. I appreciate and understand that I’m not always going to KO my rivals, but I’m fine with that, because everything will provide me with invaluable experience.”
Valdez next fights on November 9 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Naturally, his aim is seven out of seven!
