Press Release: OPI 2000 win rights to stage Daws vs. Di Rocco

LONDON -The European Boxing Union have announced today that the Italian promotional company OPI 2000 after a very competitive purse bid procedure, have won the right to stage the European Super Lightweight championship fight between Lenny Daws and Italian Michele Di Rocco.

Current EU champion Lenny Daws said. “This is the opportunity I’ve wanted for a while now, I know it’s not always easy to fight abroad but after watching a few of his fights I know he is the perfect opponent for me, very beatable”.

OPI2000 have 15 days to notify the EBU of the date and venue of the contest. The contest has to take place within 60 days of today.
