American Heavyweight Bryant Jennings: Whoever they put in my way is getting Knocked out
“I have tunnel vision, so I’m only looking to be THE champion of the world. So whoever they put in my way is getting Knocked out”
Undefeated, American heavyweight contender Bryant “By-By” Jennings, 17-0, 9 Kos was at the Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada this past Friday, July 12, 2013 at a Top Rank promoted ESPN2 Friday Night Fights show.
Jennings was last seeing in the ring on a Fight Night on NBC Sports Network Friday night show, defeating Russian Andrey Fedosov, 24-3, 19 Kos via sixth round TKO. Both heavyweights took turns landing their shots, but Jennings was the quicker and stronger of the two. Over time, Jennings, of Philadelphia, wore his opponent down and eventually closed his left eye. After six full rounds, referee Steve Smoger halted the fight based on the ringside doctor’s recommendation, saying that Fedosov’s swollen eye was significantly impairing his vision. Fedosov remained on his stool and did not come out for round seven. The official time of the stoppage was 3:00 of round six.
We took the opportunity to talk the rising heavyweight star about his career and the heavyweight division.
