Dylan “La Amenaza” Capetillo is set to make his second professional appearance, this Cinco De Mayo weekend on the preliminaries of the mega show down between David Benavidez VS Gilberto Ramirez. Dylan had an impressive debut in getting the 1st round stoppage in his first professional bout. Can he do it again?

Dylan has been making noise since his amateur days and racking up 3 WBC amateur titles to his name, also fans could’ve gotten an earlier glimpse of him as he was a young kid running the streets of Los Angeles with Manny Pacquiao and later training along side Canelo. There is no doubt his talent always stuck out over others, was this by accident? No, along side having a great work ethic this has all been under the watch full eye of his father Jorge Capetillo. Jorge is well known around boxing circles and has worked with many world champions but often gets overlooked as one of the best trainers in boxing. Will Dylan be the fighter that gets him over that hump?

With the backing up Golden Boy Promotions there is no doubt Dylan is in good hands having that Golden Boy has promoted 2 out of the last 3 biggest names in the sport being Canelo and Ryan Garcia. Dylan has the potential to be the next great Mexican/American star that boxing seems to look for. This Cinco De Mayo weekend we will find out if the star keeps getting brighter!
