WFC 45 Results from Baton Rouge

WFC-45BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA — December 12, 2015 — World Fighting Championships ended the year with yet another sold out crowd at The Belle of Baton Rouge. The card, packed with local talent, saw main event fighter Travis Scott return with a fourth round knockout win over his opponent, David Lujan.

In the co-main event, Justin Thomas handled a game Billy Bailey, paving the way for bigger opportunities for the now 14-1 fighter in 2016. Heavyweight Keenan Hickman improved to 3-0 with a fourth round TKO win over his opponent, Harris Tucker of Baton Rouge.

Capital City favorite Chris Singleton, who was added to the card at the behest of eager local fans, defeated fellow Junior Welterweight Lowell Brownfield. Lanny Dardar handed Samotheous Parker his second loss via unanimous decision, and Cole Crumpler remained unbeaten, securing his fifth win in a four round bout with Antonio Gonzales.

2016 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for World Fighting Championships, who returns to The Belle of Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 20th. The growing crossover MMA/Boxing promotion also announced its expansion to Pennsylvania this week, and tickets are on sale for its inaugural event at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, scheduled for April 9th.
