‘Chocolatico’ González vacates 108 lbs title
Nicaraguan champion Román “Chocolatico” Gonzalez made official that he is vacating the World Boxing Association light Flyweight super champion title.
Chocolatico González sent a letter explaining that this decision obbeys to his desire to win a third title belt in the Flyweight division.
González is undefeated after 37 fights with 31 KO’s. In 2008 he won the minimum tile defeating Yukata Niida by TKO, and in 2010 he won the light flyweight title defeating Francisco Rosas by KO.
Golovkin vs Adama Officials appointed
The World Boxing Association named the group of officials for the Gennady Golovkin Middleweight Champion and Challenger Osumano Adama title fight to be held on February 1 in Monaco.
The Referee will be Puerto Rican Luis Pabón, while the scorecards will be in the hands of South African Stanley Christodoulou, Belgium Phillippe Vebeke and the Polish Leszek Jankowiak.
The Supervirsor will be Mike Mcaleenan.
