Video: Mosley gives little edge to Mayweather over Pacquiao, not sure about Cotto-Canelo
“I think this fight should happen and will happen, there is a lot of money at stake. I give the slight edge to Money Mayweather because of his ability to move and get out the way and make it hard for Pacquiao to find him. Money May does have a little bit of punch power himself. It’s not like he doesn’t hit hard. I mean he’s not the hardest hitter, but he’s not softest hitter as well. I see Money winning, but I think Pacquiao does have a chance.
“I wouldn’t know who to favor in that fight [Miguel Cotto vs Saul Canelo Alvarez] Cotto looked so good when he fought Martinez, knocked him down, had good punching power. Even Mayweather when he fought Cotto, he said wow, you didn’t tell me you was that good. And I think Canelo is a good young fighter that is coming up, that his good old style skills, throws very good body shots, puts combinations together. Cotto is not really a mover, so there would be a lot of action in it. I would love to see that fight.”
112 Champions gathered on one magical evening, at the WBC diner gala, part of the 52nd WBC convention. Among the champions present was former three division world champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley. He would take from his time to discuss Amir Khan’s victory over Devon Alexander, what type of threat would Khan present to someone like WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao being a better fight for Mayweather, breaking down the fight between Pacquiao and Mauweather, a fight between Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez, and more.
