Yesterday at Kingsway Boxing Gym in NYC WBA middleweight champion from Khazastan Gennady Golovkin (24-0-21 KO’s) and Philadelphia’s own Gabriel “King” Rosado (21-6-13 KO’s) held an open workout for their upcoming match up this Saturday the 19^th at Madison Square Garden NY. The tough Rosado is moving up to challenge for the undefeated Golovkin middleweight strap in the main event in a televised triple header. In the co main event the undefeated Mickey Garcia (30-0-26 KO’s) will be challenging the Juan Manuel Lopez conqueror, the rough and rugged featherweight champion Orlando Salido (39-16-2-27 KO’s) for his WBO strap. In the opener WBO super featherweight champion from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico Roman “Rocky” Martinez (26-1-1-16 KO’s)will be making his first title defense against Juan Carlos Burgos (30-1-20 KO’s) from Tijuana, Mexico.
