“Stars and Champions” Initial Show Airs Tonight on Impact Network
DETROIT, MI (May 8, 2020) – The debut of “Stars and Champions” a 30-minute weekly show on the state of boxing during the COVID-19 pandemic, airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT on the Impact Network. CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, and host, longtime boxing scribe Dan Rafael, give fans an enlightening open dialogue about the upcoming challenges the sport is potentially about to encounter.
“I asked Leonard Ellerbe some serious questions on what direction he believes the sport of boxing will head after the COVID-19 lockdown is lifted,” said Rafael. “His perspective was very intriguing, and I know boxing fans worldwide will enjoy this show. Right now, we are in unfamiliar times as sports fans and it is nice to know there will be light at the end of the rainbow, according to Ellerbe. We also discuss the possibility of Floyd Mayweather returning to the ring.”
The Impact Network will air “Stars and Champions” across all major cable, satellite, and digital channels.
