RICKY O’BRIEN LOOKING FORWARD TO “DOING HIS THING” AT RIVERMEAD, READING, ON MARCH 15

London (7 March) Ricky O’Brien “can’t wait” to box in front of a “fantastic atmosphere” at Rivermead, Reading, on March 15.
The 21-year-old Reading man competes in his third professional contest on the undercard to the first set of MaxiNutrition Knockout quarter-finals, live on Channel 5.
“I can’t wait to box in Reading next weekend,” Ricky said.
“I am a Reading boy and I have sold a lot of tickets so the atmosphere promises to be fantastic.
“I am looking forward to doing my thing.”
The 25-year-old super featherweight, O’Brien, competes on the undercard to English light heavyweight champion, Bob Ajisafe and former British, Commonwealth and European champion, Dean Francis, as they clash for the British light heavyweight title and a place in the next round of the MaxiNutrition Knockout.
Also scheduled to fight on the show is Leon Senior, as he faces former Commonwealth title challenger Tony Hill over 10 rounds, in the second quarter final of the MaxiNutrition Knockout for the Southern Area light heavyweight belt.
Former British light welterweight champion and European title challenger Lenny Daws will also be in action, along with former Irish lightweight champion Peter McDonagh, Reading’s own Tamuka Mucha, Thomas Jarvis and Slough’s John Brennan.
