RIO RANCHO, NEW MEXICO – July 9, 2016 – Albuquerque boxing fans enjoyed eight action-packed bouts tonight at the Santa Ana Star Center, with the main event of the evening earning “fight of the night” honors.  Fidel “Atrisco Kid” Maldonado, Jr. recovered from a knockdown in the second round of his bout with Gerardo “Pepino” Cuevas, only to knock down Cuevas twice to win the contest.
