Orlando Cruz returns to Boxeo TELEMUNDO Series

Miami, FL: The final show of the fall edition of the successful Boxeo Telemundo Ford series will feature the return of one their favorites Friday, October 24 from the Kissimmee Civic Center in Central Florida.

In the main event popular featherweight Orlando “El Fenomeno” Cruz (20-4-1-10 KO’s) of San Juan, Puerto Rico will make a final run for a chance to fight for a world title when he faces Ruben “El Canelito” Tamayo (25-4-4-17 KO’s) of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico in a bout schedule for 10 Rounds with the WBO Latin Featherweight Title at stake.

In the co feature Daniel Rosario Cruz (8-1-7 KO’s) of Caguas, Puerto Rico will battle Jose Alberto “El Flaco” Leal (9-5-1-4 KO’s) of Guadalajara, Mexico in a bout schedule for 8 rounds in the welterweight division.

“We expect fireworks on our season finale show with two classic battles between Puerto Rico and Mexico, this is our 13th anniversary at the Kissimmee Civic Center and we will bring the fans a great night of action” said Promoter Tuto Zabala, Jr.

Doors open 7:30 PM, First bell at 8:30 PM. Telemundo Network available in HD will televise main event starting at 11:35 PM.
