OMB ANUNCIA ÁRBITRO Y JUECES PARA COMBATE DE TÍTULO MUNDIAL DONAIRE-RIGONDEAUX EN NUEVA YORK ESTE SÁBADO
San Juan, PUERTO RICO – La Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB) anuncia los oficiales que trabajarán este sábado, 13 de abril, en las pelea unificatoria de título mundial entre el filipino Nonito Donaire y el cubano Guillermo Rigondeaux, que se efectuará en el Radio City Music Hall de Nueva York en una presentación de la empresa Top Rank.
El presidente de la OMB, Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, informó que para el encuentro entre el campeón supergallo de la OMB, Nonito Donaire (32-1, 20 KOs), quien hará su cuarta defensa ante el monarca de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB), Guillermo Rigondeaux (11-0, 8 KOs), el árbitro será Benjy Esteves.
Mientras, los tres jueces que trabajarán este choque entre el monarca mundial en cuatro divisiones, Donaire, y el medallista de oro olímpico y mundial amateur, Rigondeaux, serán Julie Lederman, John Stewart y Tom Schreck. El supervisor de la OMB para este encuentro será John Duggan.
Esta pelea entre Donaire y Rigondeaux será transmitida en vivo por la cadena HBO desde las 11:00 p.m.
