MIZUKI Faces Virna Jandiroba at Invicta FC 28
Kansas City, Mo. – Janaisa Morandin is unable to compete and has been forced to withdraw from the strawweight title fight headlining Invicta FC 28 from the Union Event Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday, March 24.
Morandin will be replaced by MIZUKI (12-4), who moves up from the co-main event to take on undefeated submission specialist Virna “Carcará” Jandiroba (12-0) for the vacant Invicta FC strawweight championship.
MIZUKI rides a four-fight winning streak into the match-up, while Jandiroba is coming off a first-round armbar – the seventh first-round submission of her career – against veteran Amy Montenegro in her debut at Invicta FC 26.
Invicta FC is seeking a replacement to face UFC veteran Milana Dudieva in the strawweight co-main event.
