| Mateusz Masternak (35-2, 25 KOs) and Johnny Muller (18-4-2, 13 KOs) both made weight today ahead of their ten-round cruiserweight clash tomorrow night at the Emperors Palace in Gauteng, South Africa. Masternak tipped the scales at 90.05 kg, while his South African opponent Muller weighed in at 89.1 kg.
‘’I can see in Johnny’s eyes that he is very confident and ready for a fight,’’ said Masternak. ‘’But so am I! I’m confident in my own ability and I’m sure it’s going to be an exciting fight. Now, the time for speaking is over, I will let my fists do the talking in the ringtomorrow night.’’
‘’We’ve acclimatised well and are perfectly prepared for the fight tomorrow,’’ said Masternak’s coach Georg Bramowski. ‘’Now it’s up to Mateusz to put the plan into action and beat Muller. He has all the tools necessary to become a world champion and I believe Mateusz will be champion by the end of the year!’’
