Bethlehem, PA. – Tomorrow at Sands Resort and Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Arif “Mayhem” Magomedov (15-0, 9 KOs) will make his ShoBox debut against Derrick “Take it to the Bank” Webster (19-0, 10 KOs) for the vacant WBO NABO Middleweight Title. This fight will be ten rounds and will be the third fight on the ShoBox telecast just before the main event featuring Antoine Douglas against Istvan Szili in another middleweight showdown. The ShoBox telecast begins at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Magomedov, 22, of Chekhov, Russia made his professional debut January 24, 2013 with a four-round split decision victory over Ruslan Sirazhev. He went on to finish 2013 going an impressive 8-0 with six of those wins coming by way of knockout. Earlier this year he made his U.S. debut with an eight-round unanimous decision over Derrick Findley at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, California. In his most recent bout, Mayhem scored an impressive first round knockout over the ultimate spoiler and always game opponent Darnell Boone. The southpaw, Webster, 33, is originally from Raleigh, West Virginia,but now resides in Glassboro, New Jersey. Webster made his professional debut in 2009 when he earned a decision win over Vince Burkhalter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Darnell Boone was a common opponent for both men, Webster faced him in 2013 winning a split decision. Webster’s biggest win of his career came in 2014 when he earned a first round knockout over Obodai Sai. |
