KASH ALI LOOKING FOR KNOCKOUT PERFORMANCE ON MAY 10
LONDON – Kash Ali is aiming for his first stoppage win on May 10 at Ponds Forge Arena, Sheffield.
The undefeated heavyweight feels “ready for anything” and believes whoever he fights is “in trouble” on the undercard to Kid Galahad’s fight for the vacant Commonwealth title, live on Channel 5.
“I can’t wait to fight, the last time I boxed was November, so it’s been a good five/six months and I’m ready to go now,” Kash said.
“I want that first stoppage, I’m going to give it some this time, be nasty in there.
“I know I’ve got the power to knock anybody out – I’ve learnt from my six fights and this time I’ll put the pressure on, for definite.
“I’m going to be on it, whatever my opponent brings I’ll be ready for it – they’re in trouble, no doubt”.
The 22-year-old Rotherham man, who trains at the famous Ingle Gym in Sheffield, is undefeated in six contests, with six wins and is looking to reach the top to repay the support of his friends and family.
“I just want to be at the top, I have faith and it means a lot to my family and all of my friends,” Kash said.
“They’re all behind me and I know they would all be very happy for me to succeed”.
Kash fights on the undercard of fellow Ingle Gym fighter and newly crowned European super bantamweight champion Kid Galahad as he takes on Australian champion Fred ‘The General’ Mundraby for the vacant Commonwealth title.
Also scheduled to fight in Sheffield is undefeated heavyweight sensation Hughie Lewis Fury and Morden’s former British champion and European title contender Lenny Daws, as well as a whole host of local talent.
