Juan ‘El Niño’ Ruiz is back on track with a huge KO victory
After a 17-month layoff, one of Venezuela’s most decorated amateur boxers, Juan ‘El Niño’ Ruiz ( 14-0, 8 KO’s ) made his return to the ring, with a first round KO over Charly Valdez in a bout held in Tijuana, Mexico on Thursday, July, 9.
“My managers Ben Lieblein, and Alfredo Rodriguez are working very hard, they have great expectations of me, and I’m just very grateful, and ready for any test they may have for me” commented Juan Ruiz,”I’m currently training in Tijuana, and I was told that on August, 21 I’m back again!”.
Ruiz, a former WBA Fedelatin and WBC Fecarbox champion, will be in action on August, 21 at the Parque Revolución ( Revolution Park ) in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, More details to come.
