This past Friday, Top Rank promotions put together an exciting evening of boxing at the Texas Station Casino in Las Vegas Nevada, with a show headlined by a back and forth brawl between jr. featherweights Chris Avalos and Drian Francisco. The card was televised by ESPN2.

In attendance was undefeated welterweight contender Jessie Vargas who last saw action this past 16th of March, obtaining a win against Wale Omotoso on HBO. Jessie is now expected to return to the ring the 12 th of October in a PPV headlined by a highly anticipated bout between Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley against an opponent to be determined.
