Irish sensation Frampton set for BoxNation debut against Parodi
Northern Irishman Carl Frampton (center) has earned an IBF World Super-Bantamweight eliminator bout against 35-1 Frenchman Jeremy Parodi, and will make his long-awaited BoxNation debut LIVE from Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on October 19th.
The popular 26-year-old saw his first effort to appear on the channel derailed by a BBBofC medical, but is now set to delight BoxNation fans when he faces a big test in the form of the experienced Parodi, the current IBF International champion.
Awaiting the winner of Frampton and Parodi’s eliminator, where the Irishman’s European title is also on the line, is the new IBF champion Kiko Martinez. The stage is set for a mouthwatering rematch between Frampton and Martinez, who he emphatically TKO’d last February to win the European title.
