Henry Armstrong Foundation Thanks Freddie Roach & Manny Pacquiao
LOS ANGELES, CA- The Henry Armstrong Foundation has received a signed glove from Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach and seven division world champion Manny Pacquiao, which will be auctioned off at an exclusive Mayweather/Pacquiao watch party May 2nd at Porter Ranch in the San Fernando Valley.
Edward Scott, grandson of Henry Armstrong, and director of the foundation, offered his thanks to both Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao. “My family and I are very honored and grateful that Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao autographed a pair of boxing gloves for our first charity fight party auction,” he said. “We thank God for their support. It is greatly appreciated. Proceeds from the auction will go towards assisting our programs. Freddie was extremely kind and a great boxing historian. I really enjoyed speaking with him about the sport of boxing. He spoke highly of my grandfather. I appreciated he and Manny taking the time out of their busy schedules.”
Funds received from the auction of this glove will benefit The Henry Armstrong Foundation, which strives to honor the memory of Henry Armstrong by improving the lives of those in need financially, physically, scholastically, and spiritually, for families, youth and adults alike.
