FURY TO FIGHT THIS WEEKEND DESPITE CHISORA CANCELLATION

tyson_furyMANCHESTER (July 22) – Heavyweight star Tyson Fury will be fighting this weekend despite the cancellation of his world title eliminator with Dereck Chisora.

After enduring yet another major setback following the cancellation of the Chisora bout, due to the Londoner fracturing his left hand, Fury is actively in the process of finding a replacement alongside Hennessy Sports and Queensberry Promotions to ensure that he competes on Saturday night’s show at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester.
Discussions are also underway to reschedule the fight with Chisora later this year in September.
Fury has been through a very difficult 18 months, with the cancellation of two fights with David Haye, before Chisora pulled out with injury on Monday.
“It’s very frustrating for me that another of my major fights has been cancelled with my opponent pulling out injured,” said Fury. “I have been training for months to get ready for this fight and am in the best condition of my life so for this to happen again – for the third time in such a short space of time – is a big blow. Nevertheless, I will be fighting this weekend and my team will find an adequate replacement. Believe me, whoever I face on Saturday they will be in big big trouble and I will take out my frustrations on them.”
