ORANGE, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2014) – Veteran tactician Christopher “Marvelous” Martin(28-3-3, 9 KOs) of San Diego returns to the ring tonight against the highly toutedMiguel Marriaga (18-0, 16 KOs) of Colombia in an 8-round featherweight bout from the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif., televised on ESPN2 & ESPN Deportes(9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT).

Martin weighed in at 125.8, while Marriaga tipped the scales at 125.6.

Martin-Marriaga is on the undercard of what is expected to be an action-packed main event battle between Curtis Stevens (27-4, 20 KOs) of Brownsville, N.Y. and

Hassan N’Dam (30-1, 18 KOs) of France in an IBF middleweight eliminator. The winner faces world champion Sam Soliman (44-11, 18 KOs) of Australia in early 2015.
