Brandun Lee and Christian Montano Score KO Wins

HOUSTON – October 1, 2018 – Brandun Lee (12-0, 10KO), one of Cameron Dunkin’s Now Boxing Promotions’ most promising prospects at 140 pounds, improved to 12-0 Saturday in Houston, with a spectacular first round stoppage over Mexico’s Pablo Batres. The card, held at Arabia Shrine Center, also featured Now Boxing Promotions prospect Christian Montano (7-0, 6KO).

Lee wasted no time in accosting his opponent, walking down Batres, and finishing him with a body shot at 2:13 into the first round. It was the 19 year old’s fifth fight of 2018. Lee, who grew up in California, is of Korean and Mexican descent. The gifted super lightweight pugilist is already gaining a substantial fan following, and, as he has been in his prior fights, was accosted by fans after his impressive outing.

Also on the card, Now Boxing Promotions prospect Christian “Manos de Machete” Montano improved his record to 7-0, 6KO, stopping his opponent, Patrick Pierre just 52 seconds into the first round. The 19 year old light heavyweight is an area favorite in Houston, and has blown out seven of his eight opponents in the first round since his June 2017 debut.

Both fighters are expected to be in action again before year-end. For more information on Cameron Dunkin’s Now Boxing Promotions, visit www.nowboxingpromotions.com.
