Batalla en la Riviera Maya
Monday morning was the press conference for Saturday’s “BATALLA EN LA RIVIERA MAYA” card at the ARENA QUEQUI of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The headliner is the clash between Javier Prieto and Ivan “MACANON” Cano, who will be battling WBC Silver lightweight crown which currently belongs to Prieto.
“All eyes will be on the new fabulous ARENA QUEQUI with these two great title fights” said mexican promoter Pepe Gomez.
Javier Prieto: “I know I’m a better boxer than Ivan Cano and I will prove it,” proclaimed Prieto. “I’m in great shape and I return to the gym with the firm intention to take the win. I am not going to give him anything.”
Ivan “MACANON” Cano: “I am very happy to go to Cancun, I will give good show. I know there will be many people who like my boxing and will support me this Saturday so don’t rise from your seats, I’m going for a knockout in the first round”.
Also in what will be a tremendous fight, Mexico’s WBC FECARBOX bantamweight champion, Edgar “POWER” Jimenez, will be defending against Noé “Cortito” Martínez, from Aguas Calientes, Mexico.
