‘LA ROCA’ First deluxe Arena in Mexico
The New Entertainment Center “La Roca”, wich is set in a beautiful modern place near to Epazoyucan, Hidalgo, Mexico, hosted on Saturday June 28 “CASTA DE CAMPEONES”, a great boxing card that included three WBC world championships.
Canelo Promotions, Televisa, Fox Deportes, Grupo Modelo and the World Boxing Council, were responsible for this great event wich hit the homes of millions of people worldwide.
In the main event of the evening, WBC world champion, Mexican Zulina “Loba” Muñoz, successfully defend her super-flyweight crown against the Hungarian Renata Domsodi, retaining the title for the sixth time.
Meanwhile the Mexican Osvaldo “Gallito” Novoa, made a TKO in the ninth round to the Nicaraguan Alcides Martinez, retaining the straw weight division green and gold belt.
And Yazmin “Rusita” Rivas from Mexico, won a unanimous decision over the German Alesia Graf, capturing the WBC bantamweight world championship that was vacant.
Santos Islas, owner of the place, said that this entertainment center has a capacity of three thousand five hundred people and is available for boxing matches as well as presentations of top artists.
