ORTIZ VS COLLAZO UNDERCARD RESULTS
In the televised co main event featuring two undefeated prospects in the super welterweight division Eddie Gomez (16-0, 10 KO’s)from the Bronx, NY, faced Danquan Arnett (11-0, 7 KO’s) from Orlando Florida.
The first round both Eddie and Danquan showed much respect for each others power by boxing from the outside, a very hard round to score because of the lack of connected blows.
Gomez began the round fast landing a left hook on Arnett, seeming hurting him for a moment but Arnett kept his composure for the rest of the round.
In round three Arnett connected a right hand on Gomez early in the round but Gomez seemed to do better when he backed Arnett against the ropes landing a left hook of his own.
The fourth and fifth round were very even rounds with Gomez trying to open up on Arnett but Arnett keeping his poise and nullifying Gomez attack.
Gomez finally got through to Arnett dropping him with a left hook to the body after landing a right hand late in the 7th. Gomez continued to Punish Arnett who survived the round.
Arnett fought a better round 8 after being hurt in the 7th but hitting Gomez with straight rights after Gomez attack.
Arnett continued to box but Gomez would penetrate his defense from time to time .

In the first television bout undefeated super featherweight Gary Russell systematically broke down tough Mexican Miguel Tamayo with a double left hook that sent Tamayo to the canvas before referee Eddie Claudio stopped the bout at 1:48 of the 4th.
Olympic Cruiserweight Marcus Brown (9-0, 7KO’s) outworked game but over matched Kentrell Clairborne (4-9, 3 KO’s) to win by unanimous decision with scores of 60-54.
Super featherweight Emmanuel Gonzalez (14-0, 7KO’s) from the Bronx wins a unanimous decision with scores of 78-73 and 78-72 over Victor Sanchez (5-8-2,2KO’s) in a four round bout.
Another Brooklyn Native in the super lightweight division Zachary Ochoa (5-0, 3 KO’s) scored a unanimous decision over Jose Valderrama (3-7, 3KO’s) from Puerto Rico. Scores were 40-36 for Ochoa
Featherweight Rafael Vazquez ( 10-1 , 8 KO’s) from Brooklyn, NY knocked out Bradley Patraw (10-7, 5KO’s) in the first round, scheduled for eight.
