Martínez Vs Cotto close to being signed!

Everything is poised for Martinez vs Cotto, with the date set at June 7h, the venue is Madison Square Garden now all they have to do is to…sign the contract!

Maravilla’s promoter Sampson Lewkowicz, says they’ve accepted Cotto’s demands and so it’s practicaly certain that this fight WILL take place. And, Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez will defend his WBC middleweight title.

Cotto, 33, holds a record of 38-4 with 30 KO’s and defeated Delvin Rodriguez by KO in his last fight. In the other corner Martinez, 38, with a record of 51-2-2 and 28 KO’s will reappear after his victory over Martin Murray in 2013.
